I have voiced my concerns about Black Friday shopping, but I haven’t told you how I feel about Cyber Monday. For those who are unaware, Cyber Monday is the Monday following Thanksgiving. This “holiday” is considered just for online retailers and it is a time to get really good online deals. Since I work in eCommerce for my full-time job, I enjoy Cyber Monday. There are so many deals to be had, but just not enough time in the day to visit all of the websites. If you dislike going out on Black Friday, then Cyber Monday might be a better day for you. You don’ t have to worry about long lines, inventory is usually better, and no waking up early. What could be better? Oh, how about free shipping?
Most online retailers offer free shipping as one of their Cyber Monday promos. It is the easiest form of promotion, but it goes a long way. The best part is that since you are ordering early, you can easily get your gifts before the Christmas shipping deadline. Though Cyber Monday is great, how can you be sure to maximize how you will handle the deals? Most people create game plans for Black Friday, so why not create one for Cyber Monday. Here is a great infographic that will show you how to maximize your dollars during the Cyber Monday deal extravaganza. Enjoy and try not to spend too much!
