Top 20 Money Quotes to Inspire and Motivate

Here are the top 20 money quotes to inspire

We all talk a lot about money around here.  Debt Roundup is dedicated to it.  I am a fan of money, but more of the possibilities which money provides.  There is no denying that money brings opportunities.  I wouldn’t be where I am today without working hard, starting this blog, and taking advantage of every opportunity presented to me. Heck, getting control of my money allowed me to quit my job and start working for myself. You choose what you want to do with those opportunities.  Some are dedicated too much to money and all they do is think about it.  Others understand that money is a tool and they use it appropriately to achieve their goals and dreams.  Then, there are those that can’t seem to find money and are falling behind those when trying to accumulate it. There are a number of factors which lead to this, but this article is not about jumping into economics, socioeconomics, and all the other factors. This is just about some simple money inspiration.

I figured today would be a good day to share some great money quotes.  There are so many money quotes out there that I decided to bring it down to 20.  These are my top 20 money quotes to inspire and motivate you.  I hope at least one of them helps you change your mind about money. Since it’s a new year and you want to get a handle on your finances before the year slips by, hopefully these are your catalyst for change. These quotes are in no particular order.  Just as a note, this first one from Mike Rowe is not really inspirational, but I think it was dead on. I do enjoy brute honesty.  🙂

Lots of great wisdom to take out of those quotes. I’ve always been a fan of Warren Buffett’s rules. The Will Smith(although I feel like that’s been attributed to lots of people) quote is also great. It’s the keeping up with the Joneses mentality. People waste too much money trying to project an image of success or wealth or just trying to look “cool”. But confidence is the key to this, if you’re confident in what you do, you’ll never worry about spending money to impress others.

Hi Grayson

Good list, I reckon most of these quotes were valid 1000 years ago and will likely still be valid in the year 3016

I couldn’t agree more. Good advice usually withstands the test of time.

This is my favorite quote. We need money to exist and to help provide for our basic needs. If you are lucky enough to make a living out of something you love…your life will have purpose. You will be happy.

I really like these quotes. Some aren’t fully relevant but then others really hit home. Warren Buffett is always someone to inspire to as a novice investor myself. Some quotes are so good, I’m going to print them out and put on the back of my bedroom door so I always leave with a positive financial outlook for my day. It’s not always trying to keep up with others, but sometimes doing what is right for yourself.

I love “art is not in the making money, but in keeping it.” This one is very true. You can make all the money in the world but if you don’t know how to save any of it, it’s pointless. Great inspiration!
