I hope everyone has had a good weekend so far. I know that I really enjoy the weekends, but they go too quickly for my tastes. That being said, I hope to relax today and enjoy some time with the family and my son. With the hustle and bustle of life, we can get caught up with other things, so I like to take the weekends to unwind and enjoy some quality time.
There have been some good articles this week regarding personal finance. I didn’t read as many as I would have liked because I was out sick on Tuesday and Wednesday with some wicked 24 hour bug that tore through our household. There was nothing fun about it and it really put me behind.
There are many ways that I find new articles to look over. One of them is by reading the respective site’s RSS feed. I was notified by a new site about the addition of Debt Roundup and them using my RSS feed. I checked it out and I liked it. It’s called PersonalFinancely and it currently has 205 of some of the best personal finance blogs and sites, including yours truly. I liked it so much that I now use it to keep track of good articles. So, here is a shout out to the website creator. Nice work!
New Feature Alert
Some of you may have noticed that I added a new section to Debt Roundup. It is called Hot Promotions and Bonuses. You can get to it by clicking on the Promo image in the sidebar. This area contains some good company promotions and bonuses that I think you would like. Currently, I have some on there that will get you a free trial to Redbox, a $25 bonus with Betterment, free trades with TD Ameritrade, and a sweet giveaway for an Xbox One or Playstation 4. I plan on putting up new things when I come across them, so continue to check it out.
I also created an in-depth How to Start and Run a Successful Blog page for those that are interested in jumping into the blogging world. I put in my years of experience and hopefully this how to guide will help you get started. It is easy to read and if you have any questions, just let me know.
