Happy 1st Birthday Debt Roundup!

happy 1st birthdayYep, that’s right. Debt Roundup is one today. A year ago today, I wrote my first post and opened up my financial life to all of you.  A lot has happened since the start of this blog. I have met some great people and I have been able to share my story on a national level. I never imagined what could have come from starting this blog, but I have really enjoyed it.

That being said, a year is a long time in the blogging world, but it doesn’t mean it is the end.  I have been thinking of other ways to reach people, so I have a little surprise for you.  Check out the video below for more information.

There are many more people that I would like to thank for helping me throughout this year, but I don’t have enough space to do that. You know who you are and I have really appreciated getting to know all of you. Thank you!

About the Author Grayson Bell

I'm a business owner, blogger, father, and husband. I used credit cards too much and found myself in over $75,000 in debt ($50,000 in just credit cards). I paid it off, started this blog, and my financial life has changed. I now talk about fighting debt and growing wealth here. I run a WordPress maintenance and support company, along with another blog, Eyes on the Dollar, which is another great personal finance blog.

Happy anniversary. You have developed a very popular blog in the first year. I am closing in on the one year mark and I am not even close to your level of success.

Thank you Jane. We all work at different levels, but as long as you are happy with your progress. Congrats to you for nearing the one year mark.

Great video mate and congratulations on the 1 year milestone. I can’t believe that you blog is actually younger than mine (by a few weeks) I always assumed you had been around for years.

I think the video posting is a great idea and I had been toying with the idea myself, but I have been struggling with the content that I would talk about. Perhaps I should just take the plunge like you have and see what comes of it.

Anyway, great job on the blog and hopefully you have many more blogging birthdays to come 🙂

I thought about it for some time and then just decided to get a webcam and see where it goes. I just want to try something a little different this year.
