Round Up

The Weekly Debt Roundup Digest – 9/15/2013

Debt Roundup Personal Finance DigestI hope everyone had a great week and is having a good weekend.  I really enjoyed my weekend so far, as I got to spend time with my son on Saturday.  It was just him and I all day, as his mother was out of town.  I don’t get many days when it is just the guys, but I will say that it was most enjoyable.  There is nothing better than spending a great day with someone you love.  It makes me feel good to be a parent.

Need Help?

As some of you may know, I have started to provide my services to others.  I have always done freelance work in the past, but usually didn’t publicize it because of time constraints.  I have worked that out and now I am happy to provide me services to others.  You can hire me for a wide range of services, including staff writing, ghost writing, repetitive tasks (I create some crazy macros), WordPress work, and more.

Cat, from Budget Blonde, reached out to me for some WordPress assistance and she provided some great feedback on my service.  Thank you Cat for the kind words.  I appreciate it and am always available to help!

Articles on Debt Roundup

There were some great articles put up on DR this week.  I wrote almost all of them except for the one on Friday, which was authored by Maria of The Money Principle.  I hope you enjoyed them all and if you haven’t read them, check them out now!

I'm a business owner, blogger, father, and husband. I used credit cards too much and found myself in over $50,000 in debt. I paid it off, started this blog, and my financial life has changed. I now talk about fighting debt and growing wealth here. I run a blog management company, along with another blog. It is Empowered Shopper, which helps people get information about products they want to buy. You can also check out Eyes on the Dollar, which is a great blog that I co-own.

Glad that you got to spend a day alone with your son; Rick gets to do that a few times a year and always enjoys it. Congrats to you on stepping up the freelance work, I’m sure you’ll be quite successful at it, Grayson. Have a wonderful Sunday. :-)

I had no idea you offered all those services. It’s great to have so many friends that have these resources as their own talents we can turn to when we need assistance.
