I have been thinking lately of a way to get all of the personal finance bloggers to participate in something that I think readers will enjoy. We all move through the year thinking about money and hopefully making/saving more money. We have many followers that would like to do the same and just want great tips to help them get control of their finances. So, here is my idea……
I Need Your Help
I want to try and bring some of the best bloggers together and join me in offering one tip or piece of advice about money/saving/investing/retirement/anything personal finance related to the people that we are here to help. This tip should reflect the best tip you could provide someone when dealing with money or the one tip that helped you start getting control of your finances. Your best tip of 2012!
I know if I had a resource like this, then I could have started out a new year with a new vision on how I spent my money. What a way to start a new year!
I will host this treasure trove of personal finance tips/advice. You can be a part of this in one of two ways.
- Send me your best tip of 2012 through my contact form. I will then add it to a year end post and link to either your website/twitter/facebook/rss or whatever one you want. The tip should not be the same size as a post. Please send up to about 5 sentences.
- Create a post on your website and send me the link to it by either linking to this post or sending me the link via my contact form. I will then link to your post from the year-end post. If you already have a post that includes your tip, then just send me the link and include a brief synopsis (about 2-3 sentences is fine)
**Update** I have heard about some issues with my contact form, so if you want to email me directly at webmaster [at] debtroundup [dot] com that would be just as good. Sorry everyone!
I think this will be a great way to bring together all of the personal finance bloggers for the help of the community. We are here to help out our fellow man and I believe providing these great tips will more than help.

Hey Jennifer, I am glad that you would like to share. There is no particular word count, but I don’t think it needs to be overly explained. If you have a post on your blog, I can link to it to provide me explanation. Just something simple, yet powerful!
